In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we are committed to protecting your personal data.

What information do we collect about you?
We collect personal information about you when you place an order for products or services. We also collect information when you voluntarily fill out a form, telephone us or ask for a quotation.

You may be asked for your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, mobile telephone number, and credit card information.

When applying for a credit account we ask for additional information including company information, additional contact details, the name and address of your bank, account number, sort code and the names and addresses of references.

We sometimes ask for personal identification documents from you to validate shipping addresses to combat fraud. You can always refuse to supply personal identification documents except that it may prevent you from purchasing products. We process personal data for several purposes including the maintenance of credit and cash sales accounts, the provision of product details and pricing changes.
We may operate CCTV to monitor our premises therefor your image, vehicle and registration number may be captured and stored for up to 30 days.

How will we use and keep the information about you?
We do not sell or pass your personal information to third parties other than as set out in the paragraphs below or unless it is strictly necessary to deliver the products and services ordered or used by you. For example, your information will be passed to a credit card company to validate your credit card details and obtain payment when you buy a product or service. Another example would be when your name, email address and postal address is passed to our courier service to enable the product to be delivered, and for you to be updated with text messages and emails for parcel tracking.

We may use your information for a number of purposes which include: processing your orders and managing and administering your account; delivering any services, products or information requested by you; responding to complaints or account enquiries; administering debt recoveries; verifying your identity when required.

We do use your information collected from the website to personalise your repeat visits to our website. In processing your order, we may send your details to, and also use information from credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.

We may use your information to create tailored advertising campaigns through search engines and social media channels such as Google, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. You can turn off these advertisements using the privacy controls within these platforms.

We may pass your information to third party technology partners to provide us with statistical information and marketing reports. This data is kept securely at all times and is not used for any other purpose.

Personal data processed is kept by us for as long as it is considered necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Including as required by applicable law or regulation.
In the absence of specific legal, regulatory or contractual requirements, our retention policy period for records and other documentary evidence created in the provision of services is 7 years.

Marketing Communication
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to personalise your experience on repeat visits and to compile statistical reports on website activity.

Removing your data
You have a right to have your date removed. You can do this by emailing sales@dunsleyheat.co.uk. Please allow 48 hours for us to remove your details from our system. If you have purchased a product or service from us then we do have the legal right to keep this data for accounting purposes for as long as necessary after which time data will be removed or shredded.
